Details:
A clean and working Lafayette model 99-5022 capacitor checker with a bright eye tube in great condition. A known good capacitor tested correctly on both units. Although this unit is in working condition, the 20 uF electrolytic capacitor has signs of corrosion on one end. This unit is tested against my rebuilt and calibrated Pasco C-25 capacitor tester which has a very similar design.
I highly recommend replacing this and the other electrolytic capacitors before long term use.
